The Brezno City Days are an annual event celebrating the rich history and culture of this central Slovak town. This year, the city of Brezno commemorates the 760th anniversary of its first written mention and has prepared a rich program full of culture, music, entertainment, and traditions.

 

30 May 2025 (Friday)

09:30 – Schools for Schools - Presentation of Brezno schools, accompanying program, and competitions.

16:30 – Clowniada - The funniest and most colorful fairy tale! A clown variety show about professions for the little ones.

18:00 – Dominika Mirgová - Concert by the popular Slovak singer.

19:30 – Polemic - Concert by the legendary Slovak ska-reggae band.

21:15 – Kali - Performance by the famous rapper.

22:30 – 01:00 – Twentyfive Express Party - Evening dance party.

31 May 2025 (Saturday)

10:00 – Goulash Tasting by city associations and the Mayor's charity goulash in the city park

16:00 – Royal Parade through the City - The royal troupe on horses, drums, flag bearers, and dramatization of historical events. Route: City House of Culture – Božena Němcová Street – stage on the square.

18:00 – Spievankovo – We are Flying to You - A musical performance for children full of singing and cheerful stories.

19:30 – Hrdza - Concert of the famous folk-rock band.

21:00 – Kollárovci - Performance by the popular folk music band.

22:00 – Fireworks - Grand light show.

22:30 – 01:00 – DJ Shuro - Open-air dance party.
